Abstract Submissions

Students are encouraged to Submit an Abstract for presentation at the annual scientific conference or showcase existing research by submitting a previously unpublished encore abstract.

  • Students with an accepted abstract will receive complimentary registration to the annual conference.
  • All accepted abstracts will be included in a journal publication.

Award Recognition

The prestigious Dr. E. Keith Borden Awards  recognize students for outstanding oral and poster presentations. (Eligibility is limited to students with an accepted abstract).


Educational Opportunities

The CAPT-ACTP offers insightful Webinars for students featuring distinguished speakers from government, pharmacoepidemiology, academia, and research sectors, providing valuable learning experiences.


Networking Opportunities

Student members gain exclusive access to networking with leading researchers, policymakers, industry professionals, and thought leaders during the Annual Conference. Additionally, students can connect with fellow academic peers through dedicated student networking activities.


Internships, Mentorships & Job Opportunities

Each year at our Annual Conference Career Fair, CAPT sponsors can host booths to connect directly with students and emerging professionals. These booths aren’t just informational; many sponsors use them for informal interviews or early screening.


Travel Bursary

Students with an accepted abstract are eligible to apply for a Student Travel Bursary to offset travel costs.

The deadline to submit your student bursary application for the 2025 CAPT Conference is August 15, 2025.
